Erin Montanez, Tsohil Bhatia and I organized a meal centered around dishes that can be cooked in the absence of fire, as part of the collective's residency at Flux Island. The three-course menu will be served picnic-style in an outdoor & shaded area on Governors Island, consisting of a refreshing array of dishes to keep you cool in the late-summer heat. House Fest will be happening in the area concurrently, so it's a great day to be on the island.
